All three are post-1963 manufacture (1969, early 1965, late 1965 respectively), and in the condition you state, they are worth approximately $150 each.

Hello Rudy,
Your Model 94AE was manufactured in the 1990s.
The value is determined by the graded condition, and who you are trying to sell it to. That stated, the vast majority of the Model 94AE Carbines are worth something in the $125 - $325 range.
you do know you are on a old thread. second are you baseing your opinion on your local area . prey 1964 model 94 rifles draw high prices. modern production rifle's might cost stuped new but have low resale value.

Would really like to know when this gun was made and how much it is worth. Got it as a present from my dad and he thinks that it is pretty valueable. I don't ever want to get rid of it no matter what because the sentimental value is priceless but I am curious about the actual value. The gun is in excellant shape. I have other guns that I would like to know about also. I just started collecting them for my son and I want to know if I have over paid. Thanks alot guys for helping out this single mom that is trying to bring up a little redneck on her own!!?
hi wvskinbyrd,
your 94 was manufactured in 1982, unless its a special run or commemorative rifle value should be 350 - 400. JMHO

what caliber is your model 94, ammo is really hard to find for my .38-.55, winchester makes a run of special calibers once or twice a year only. luckily I have a supply.
Rob The year of manufacture for serial number 1208774 is 1942.
Paul G, The year of manufacture for serial number 1997254 is 1953.
Roger The year of manufacture for serial number 3862082 is 1973.
I have a model 94 - 32 special. serial # 1678600, this is a 1950 era..what is it worth?

Mike,
None of the websites have correct serial number versus date of manufacture information for the Winchester Model 94. All of them that I have found thus far used the same flawed information found in George Madis' book (that he wrote back in the late 1950s). I am in the process of writing and publishing a new Winchester serialization book (using the original factory records held by the Cody Firearms Museum).

No, it is not a 1925 vintage Model 94. Serial number 954537 was actually manufactured in February of 1923. The website you reference is another example of the erroneous information that I have repeatedly mentioned. I posted a rebuttal to that post on Wiki 3-years ago. Click on the link below.

The value is based on the graded condition, the caliber, and the specific configuration of the gun.. none of which was mentioned in your post.
Bert H.
The graded condition is in the 20-30% range, and the saddle ring is missing. The value is approximately $400.

Bert,
It seems you've either deleted my posts or they haven't been added. It is a .30-30 calibered chamber. I was also wondering if I were to redo the blue on the rifle if that would affect pricing positively or negatively. As you may have guessed, I'm rather inexperienced in this all and would appreciate any of your expertise. Hope all is well!
Edit: if you don't remember, you previously said my rifle was made in July of '41. I guessed it has about a 50% condition between the stock and blue and it shoots quite nicely.
